About She is Fabulous Awards

She is Fabulous Women’s Awards is the 1st awards in South Africa to RECOGNIZE, CELEBRATE & AWARD fabulous women in aid of charity. The awards was established by Evelyn Maruping, in partnership with reality television show SterStatus, as an annual event for the Fabulous Charity Girl Foundation.

Evelyn Maruping together with Tarien Cornje the producer of SterStatus and Nelia van den Heever heads the awards, each contributing their different skills to ensure the success of the awards and for it to reach every single woman in SA. 

Anyone can nominate a woman, who they feel is worthy of an award at the cost of R150 that will be paid directly into the account of The Fabulous Girl Charity Foundation.

Self-nominations are welcome. Women can be nominated in more than 1 category. For each category it is R150 should you nominate a woman in more than one category.

Award categories

  1. Fabulous Woman in Business (Well established Business Women above 35)
  2. Fabulous Ladies in Sport (All sporting codes and all age groups)
  3. Fabulous Lady in Leadership (Can be in science, education,  tech,CEO’s, managers, politics other all age groups)
  4. Fabulous Woman Empowerment Leader (women who empower other women through various initiatives or any woman who impacted another woman’s life as their support system on their journey above 18)
  5. Fabulous Community Builder (ladies young and old who serves their community but not registered organisation an individual’s registered organisations) this is not a competition, but recognising every single woman who the nominee feels is making a difference in their space and want them to be awarded.
  6. Fabulous Public Figure (this category is open to women in any sector accept celebrities, because there is a separate awards section for celebrities)
  7. Fabulous Young Lady (open to girls from age 5 – 16)
  8. Fabulous Female Rising Star (any woman or young lady rising to fame in any industry)
  9. Fabulous Role Model (open to all ages and the category is for ladies who inspire others and seen as a role model in their communities, workplace, different industries and other)
  10. Fabulous Woman in Government (new category) women the public loves or who colleagues feel is fabulous and want to nominate them)
  11. Fabulous Celebrity Female (new category) all ages and the category speaks for itself
  12. Fabulous Young Female Entrepreneur (new category) open to age groups 18 -35

Please note that one person can be nominated for multiple categories, but the form and payment must be completed per nomination category.

A nomination will cost R50 per nomination.
After the form is complete you will be redirected to a payment page to complete your nomination.
